Dusk and Dawn

My final piece for my art exam...i liked it so much i put on DA for all the world to see!! *glows with pride*

The theme for the exam was "dawn and dusk" - hence the name and the subject matter!

There's some basic photomanipulation: i superimposed a background, colour dodge to enhance the colours. But most of it was done "by hand", as it were. Many thanks to Anastacia, my extremely lovely and patient model - it took nearly FOUR HOURS for me to paint her. Now, Anastacia has an, ahem, "hyperactivity disorder" (pft!! The gal is mental!!), so sitting still for four hours was quite a feat for her. However, she was stuffing cheese and pickle sandwiches half the time i was painting her (bleugh...pickle breath!!)...even so, Ants-in-her-pants-Ana deserves an applause!!

So...i painted her, i took the photos...it was fun fun fun!! I had a great time doing this piece!! I hope you like it!!
